Research group is responsible for design and implementation of business solutions cantered around acquisition, normalization and distribution of financial research documents. The team maintains an extensive system of databases, web services and workflow processes.
Based in Gdynia, the Software engineer will be responsible maintenance and implementation of system components utilizing distributed processing and web services frameworks.
Essential responsibilities:
• Analysiss and design of technical solutions to fullfill business requirements.
• Full engagement in the implementation lifecycle.
• Responsible for providing all the necessary documentation and other support for production deployment.
• Provide third line technical support for production systems.
This is a hands on development position with some elements of maintenance and support.
Qualifications:
• Candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in the area of software development utilizing relevant technologies.
Candidate should have profficiency with: C , Relational Databases, .NET framework, Microsoft development platform and tools, principles of distributed architecture and web services, debugging and testing tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in English (written, verbal, interpretive), as the individual will communicate and coordinate with senior development staff
• A strong development background that includes the build of complex software in a complex organization
Education:
Bachelors required.
