Also sell these sames services at designated community events.
Essential Job Functions: Knocking door to door on assigned territory 80%. This includes presentation, writing up an order and calling in the sales for installation scheduling. 20% office duties; including paper work, calling customers, attending meetings and completing learning modules on the office computer.
Job Requirements:
· Successful sales or other customer contact experience preferred. Must have a proven track record in business along with strong account management, organizational, and leadership skills. · Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills that include strong persuasive techniques, excellent listening skills, and the ability to develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationship with clients. · Self motivated individual who is able to work effectively within a team environment. · Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office). · Excellent driving record with a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, vehicle and proof of insurance. · Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Experience/Skills Required: Sales experience helpful but not required.
Required Certifications, Licenses, Registrations, etc., to perform the essential functions of this position: Automobile, Car Insurance.
Travel requirements and frequency : Every day as required to drive to assigned territory and to appointments out of territory.
Communication Skill level: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMMENTS: Regularly required to walk; drive; climb stairs; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance.
· Regularly required to drive in, and is exposed to, outside weather conditions. · Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. · Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. · The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
