JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day activities of the MDU Direct Sales employees in Appleton, Green Bay and surrounding areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. Responsible for staff scheduling to provide optimal coverage and to ensure a 95% service level is maintained at all times. 2. Motivate staff to ensure an efficient and productive operation to meet customer expectations and company goals. 3. Administer job standards, coaching, disciplinary actions and prepares job evaluations and performance appraisals. 4. Compile daily, weekly and monthly department reports measuring productivity, statistics and sales results. 5. Monitor sales to ensure consistency in the sales presentation. Evaluate training needs and takes action on results. 6. Communicate regularly with manager regarding sales and training issues. 7. Manage projects as assigned. 8. Perform all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: •.High School diploma preferred •Three to five years of sales, telemarketing, or related sales experience preferred. •Previous supervisory or lead experience with demonstrated ability to effectively lead large groups of employees, train personnel, and communicate/enforce policies and procedures. •Proficient computer skills with strong knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Working knowledge of on-line billing or management information systems. •Ability to speak effectively •Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out difficult instructions or plans. •Excellent organizational skills with the ability to perform effectively in a fast paced multi-tasking environment.
