Job Description
Devereux Texas Treatment Network is a part of a nationwide network of programs treating individuals of all ages who have a wide range of emotional, behavioral, developmental, psychiatric and chemical dependency disorders. Services offered through Devereux-League City include:
Acute Hospitalization
Serves children and adolescents. This inpatient program provides intensive medical and nursing intervention for patients in acute psychiatric and/or chemical dependency crisis requiring diagnostic and stabilization services. This is the most intensive level of intervention and is designed to stabilize the patient and prepare him or her to more to a less restrictive level of care.
Residential Services
Serves adolescents and young adults ages 13-22. These programs provide secured long-term services to clients with a wide spectrum of emotional, behavioral, developmental, psychiatric and chemical dependency disorders. Residential treatment services include individual, group and family therapies, along with pre-vocational programs and an accredited educational program.
Partial Hospitalization
Serves children, adolescents and senior adults. This program provides intensive psychiatric and/or chemical dependency treatment allowing patients to return home in the evening. This program serves as a step-down from acute services or for those requiring medical and nursing supervision and needing more structure and support than traditional outpatient treatment. It also offers a less restrictive point of entry than acute hospitalization. The program is conducted Monday through Friday.
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
Serves children, adolescents and senior adults. The IOP programs are designed to treat adolescents and adults with chemical dependency disorders and senior adults suffering from an array of psychiatric disorders. The IOP may serve as an intervention to avoid acute hospitalization or as a step-down from inpatient or partial hospitalization. The IOP programs operate three days a week, three hours during the day for the senior adults, after school for the adolescents and in the evening for the adults. The Adult Chemical Dependency IOP program is also available in Angleton.
Outpatient Services
Serves children, adolescents and senior adults. This services provides diagnostic and treatment services for individuals suffering from psychiatric and/or chemical dependency disorders. Services include psychiatric evaluations, medication evaluations and management, individual therapy, family/marital/relationship therapy and psychological testing.
Job Requirements
Minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Two years of college preferred.
Must have a minimum of two years experience as a Mental Health Technician and/or as a Campus Operations Technician
