Time Warner Cable currently seeks Retention Representatives for our Inbound Retention Department in our West Columbia, SC office. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Utilize consultative approach in an effort to present the value of products and services with the purpose of retaining core products and customers, and selling products and services to existing customers.
• Receive high volume of incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries in a manner which meets high quality, productivity and other performance standards.
• Retain and upgrade cable services in accordance with company requirements and customer needs.
• Save customers from disconnecting or downgrading service; present benefits of products and services on all calls including billing, technical, collections, and other types of inquiries.
• Respond to customer complaints in a professional manner; attempt to resolve complaints successfully in accordance with established guidelines. Escalate unresolved complaints in a timely and effective manner, in accordance with escalation guidelines.
• Attempt to troubleshoot customers' service problems; schedule field service calls when necessary; Schedule customer appointments in accordance with established procedures.
• Document customer transactions accurately in the billing system and complete required administrative tasks such as accurate tracking of sales and/or saves in online tools; Use online support tools to obtain information and to help resolve issues
• Project professionalism and work cooperatively with team members and management

REQUIREMENTS:
• 1-2 years sales experience highly preferred
• 1-2 years heavy phone volume experience in a customer service/call center capacity highly preferred
• Automatic call distribution experience highly preferred
• Typing speed of 40WPM preferred
• Must demonstrate excellent database skills, including the ability to enter customer information/orders accurately and navigate through multiple screens
• Must demonstrate strong oral communication skills
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and split shifts, due to business need.
