Job Description
Robert Half Technology has partnered with a one of the best places to work in Cincinnati for a Sharepoint developer on a Direct Hire basis. This role works with end users during system design to determine functionality needs. Communicates with all stakeholders on issue resolution and progress of specific projects.
Codes and solves problems in C# using Visual Studio .NET.
Creates MS SQL Server 2005/2008 stored procedures, views, triggers, functions, tables, indexes.
Develops and executes test plans for applications to assure accuracy, integrity, and completeness to achieve desired results.
Documents new applications or changes to existing applications.
Works closely with end users to make them aware of updates and changes of the applications.
Analyzes programs or systems to determine the cause of the problem. Makes changes to prevent recurrence, modifying existing code and faulty files, writing and running special programs.
Helps others in the organization with SharePoint knowledge at a level of understanding appropriate to their job function.
Support the delivery of consultancy services, including supporting the work of colleagues.

Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in IT or related field.
2+ years of experience in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications.
2+ years of .NET development
2+ years experience developing on the SharePoint platform (Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, InfoPath, Forms Services, Excel Services, Search, Business Data Catalog, Web Services and SharePoint Designer 2007) in business environments: preparing, implementing, developing add-ons, producing end-user and technical documentation, supporting, and training users.
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Security Model, Events, Alerts, and Workflows.
Experience in building Windows Workflow (WWF) solutions with Visual Studio 2008 and SharePoint Designer 2007.
Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization).
Web development experience (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, XML, JavaScript, AJAX or JQuery).
Experience configuring and working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS v. 6-7) and SQL Server 2005/2008.
Experience with the 2010 release of SharePoint would be highly valued.
Experience in creating Business Intelligence solutions would be highly valued.
Experience with server installation, performance tuning is not required but valued.
Familiar with Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio Team System.
Overall understanding of relational database design.
Microsoft SharePoint certifications are a big plus for this role. At a minimum, the candidate should have the ability to pass relevant Microsoft certification exams.
Ability to effectively convey technical information to end users.
Ability to work on multiple projects at a time, in a fast paced environment.
Leadership: takes initiative and sees project tasks through successful completion.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Proactive and creative in managing issues and problems.
