Our client, a large Financial institution located in Jersey City, is looking for a Sr Java Developer to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting environment on a project with high visibility. On a daily basis, this person will be responsible for developing new functionality with an existing Collateral Management application. This is a great opportunity to work with emerging technologies. The software developer is expected to design, code, test, debug, and document programs. This individual will be responsible for application development, system testing and successful implementation of solutions to satisfy the needs of the collateral business. To be qualified for this position, this person is expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge, and manage a high level of risk. The successful candidate must have experience with core Java, object oriented design, multi-threading, JBOSS, Spring, Hibernate, and be familiar with Struts, JSF, DOJO, GWT, and relational databases. The most important technology to have experience with is either JSF, Myfaces, or Richfaces. This is a long term contract and the successful candidate must have great communication and be able to gain clearance. Candidates should be able to interview with 48 hours notice and be able to start with 2 weeks notice.
