To perform review of autonomy and reserve increases to ensure proper notice and/or billing to our reinsurance markets.
Interaction with claim department managers and staff to promote effective handling of resolution of reinsurance issues.
Identification of claim issues that may require arbitration or senior management involvement.
Monitoring outstanding indemnities owed by reinsurers.
Effective interaction with reinsurance markets and intermediaries.
Review contract wording and properly identify claims subject to treaties.
Manage timely responses to inquires and assessing whether the claim technicians are properly responding to the questions posed.
Assist in developing claim information for treaty renewals, effectively interact with Reinsurance (placement), Accounting and underwriting departments.
Responsible to facilitate audits performed by Reinsurers.
Requires at least 5-7 years in insurance, claims examination, litigation management, and/or reinsurance processes.
Very orderly and excellent communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft office systems.
Both written and verbal communication skills must be professional.
Must be able to work independently, self motivator, creative.
