Classification:  Manager Internal Audit

Compensation:  $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year

Robert Half is working with a Reno based client to identify a Director of Internal Audit to join their growing team. In this newly created role, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing the internal audit framework within the organization by ensuring adherence to, and compliance with, company policies and procedures, will execute the annual audit schedule, prepare and present pertinent updates and findings to senior management and will be responsible for coordinating external audit/exam activities. Additionally, the selected candidate will interface with and support a variety of risk management initiatives to focus on the overall improvement of business activities.

Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a 4 year degree in accounting, CPA, CIA, CRMA is highly desired, a minimum of 7-10 years experience in internal or external audit, very strong communication skills, the ability to adapt and work well in a team environment.
