Description: Our client is in need of a candidate who possesses expertise in developing applications for the LINUX environment using open-source components. This candidate will be involved in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of web-based applications including application coding. Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for writing Web Services using REST APIs. The candidate will be involved in the development of operation, administration and maintenance (OA&M) capabilities, performance and scalability as well as web application server technologies. This individual will be expected to be proficient in both compiled and scripted languages. Candidates with strong Agile development backgrounds have the opportunity to thrive in a team environment. Candidates must be willing to work in a team environment and should have strong written and oral communication.
