Location: USA-New Hampshire-Londonderry
The Talent Acquisition Manager will serve as the primary connection between the Human Resources function and its multiple clients within Warrior Systems. He/she will partner closely with hiring managers to assess long and short-term strategic recruiting goals used to develop and implement comprehensive diversity and recruiting strategies that meet the needs of our business. This will encompass the entire recruiting process from sourcing to on-boarding. The position reports to the Vice President, Human Resources.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Hands on leadership of recruiting staff.
- Build and maintain a strong partnership between HR and executive management to develop and administer an effective and dynamic strategic workforce plan, budgets and hiring forecasts in existing and emerging markets.
- Partner with hiring managers to evaluate and determine their hiring needs.
- Determine relevant staffing and recruiting tools and methodologies for building a cutting edge organization.
- Establish systems of accountability to include the development of maintenance metrics to measure the success of the recruiting process and the quality of hires.
- Develop and promote the Company's employment brand in a professional and positive manner through effective ad composition and placement.
- Represent the Company at job fairs, open houses, college recruiting and other recruiting events.
- Manage the internship program to include maximizing the return on university relations by establishing and maintaining an on-campus, L-3 Warrior Systems presence with target universities through internships and other identified programs.
- Provide thorough leadership in the areas of organizational excellence and staffing management.
- Align resources with client needs (current and projected) within budget.
- Remain abreast of trends in the high technology defense industry to ensure practices remain proactive and innovative.
- Partner with Corporate Communications to ensure the development and delivery of consistent, clear and effective communications to current as well as prospective employees.
- Guide the Company's efforts in the areas of Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action as it relates to staffing.
- Manage a well-developed group of quality vendors (Contract Houses, Recruiting Agencies, etc.)
- Manage all senior level requisitions.
- Provide innovation and thorough leadership in the areas of executive and engineering recruitment to the recruitment cycle.
Performance measurements will include Quality of Hire, Time to Fill, Customer Satisfaction and Employee Retention. Requires 7-10 years of corporate recruiting and/or agency staffing experience. Behavioral interviewing experience required as is a familiarity with multiple Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Taleo experience preferred.
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a business discipline is needed; advanced education and training preferred. Must have expert knowledge of staffing activities, including candidate sourcing, recruitment strategy design and implementation, screening and assessment. Strong communication (written and verbal) interpersonal, influencing, leadership, problem-solving and presentation skills are a must. Occasional travel required.
