Job Description

Responsibilities:

Serve as a the interface between the Corporate office and manufacturing plants for quality related functions.
Responsible for quality interface with suppliers on existing products.
Provide guidance to suppliers regarding APQP for new product launches.
Conduct on site supplier audits.
Work with supply base to implement corrective actions for defective materials.
Facilitation of TS-16949 procedures and audits in the corporate office.
Lead problem solving resolution with cross functional team utilizing problem solving techniques (ie. 8D).
Serve as management representative for TS-16949 third party audits.
Enhancement of supplier quality manual.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

BS Degree in Engineering.   10+ years  Quality Engineering experience.
Experience and Understanding of the TS-16949 Automotive quality standard.
Experience generating OE requirement customer PPAP's and leading the APQP process.
Experience developing Process Flow Charts, PFMEA's and Control Plans.
Must have been trained as a lead auditor.
Experienced knowledge with various manufacturing processes.
Understanding of print GD&T.
Experience with measurement techniques and Gage R&R.
Experience and full understanding of SPC (6 sigma, a plus).

Bi-Lingual Spanish, a plus.
