Job Description
Our client is an internationally recognized as the leader in the design and manufacture of water conditioning equipment. They are the largest manufacturer of residential water softening and water treatment equipment in the world. They are in need of a Plastic Engineer.

The Plastics Engineer is responsible for identifying, developing and implementing production process methods, cost reduction and quality improvement projects, and will perform various project assignments throughout their production operations. This position will also ensure that effective programs are in place to direct and manage all maintenance programs for the buildings systems.

Key duties include:

a) Establish, monitor and maintain robust blow molding process parameters.

b) Project management to ensure timely completion of continuous improvement actions

c) Direct personnel, both internal and contractors, in all phases of facility repair and maintenance, along with analyzing and providing cost estimates for installations, labor and equipment.

d) Lead product manufacturing projects, assists in building and testing prototypes.

e) Establish and maintain production rate standards

f) Source equipment, parts, supplies.

g) Actively participate in continuous improvement activities consistent with a lean manufacturing philosophy.

Job Requirements
a) BS Chemical Engineering or Masters Level Chemistry.

b) Knowledge of water industry either through industrial experience or academia

c) 3 to5 years of direct or indirect management/supervisory experience

d) Proficiency in Statistical methods, test methods development, validation and verification of

Pay Rate: 80,000.00 - 90,000.00 Annual DOE
