Job Description
Position Summary:

The Customer Liaison Engineer is the principal Interface for all HW engineering related topics between the customer and the Hardware Development team. The Customer Liaison Engineer supports the customers in all phases of the ECU development.

Essential Functions:

The successful candidate will be required to:

•Prepare technical customer meetings
•Perform electrical ECU tests at bench and vehicle level.
•Document properly the test results take at bench and vehicle level.
•Timely resolve hardware/software issues at customer site.
•Delivery of ECU prototypes.
•Reduced warranty numbers throughout prototype and launch phase of program.
•Perform and debug vehicle ECU EMC testing
•Perform and debug ECU electrical validation testing
•Support EMC and Lifetime ECU troubleshooting

Educational Requirements:
•BSEE/MSEE or equivalent
•Typically 5-7 years of successful experience.

Experience/Qualifications:

•Extraordinary communication skills.
•Highly motivated Engineer and Team player
•Must be able to multitask and perform a broad set of task from the essential function list.
•Hands-on experience in lab test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, wave form generator, multi-meter, etc.
•Deep knowledge of ECU/TCU’s, Automotive Requirements, Series Production and Good manufacturing Practices
•Understanding of vehicle engine control systems, sensors and actuators.
•Understanding of SW structure and engine control strategy.
•Knowledge of vehicle bus messaging: CAN based communication structure and protocol.
•Knowledge of Automotive EMC and Environmental Testing procedures.
•Knowledge of Project Management methodology
