Job Description
Performs a wide variety of duties to supervise & coordinate safety, security and switchboard functions, in accordance with the finest standards and hospital policies, in achieving a safe and secure environment. Duties include but are not limited to Safety Committee reporting membership, Emergency preparedness, task force participation, design and implementation of drills, complee scheduling. Employee evaluations, job candidate interviews, and required regulatory agency documentation under the direction of the Facilities Admin Director.
Job Requirements
Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications: Education: Must have a High school diploma, and Associate degree/ or five years experience in Security or supervision.
HSSAI certification in hospital security.
Experience: Must have knowledge of local, state, federal and other regulations pertaining to health care safety and security. Must be knowledgable in investigation techniques, including use of CCTV, report writing and interviewing. Knowledge may be obtained thru education and/or experience.
Licensure/Certification: Must have CPI (Crisis Prevention) training within 3 months of employment.
Other: Must have excellent motor abilities and verbal communication skills.
Must obtain CPR within the first three (3) months of employment.
Must obtain CPI (Crisis Prevention Training) within first three (3) months of employment.
