Central Illinois Food Manufacturing Facility in need of a Food Safely & Quality Assurance Manager.

Position Summary:

• Improve current food safety and qaulity assurance program
• Implement new standards and programs
• Train existing staff on constantly changing requirements
• Prepare entire facility for regular audits

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement improvements to GMP and HACCP programs
• Prepare for regular AIB GMP facility audits and future audit requests
• Continuously improve food safety environment

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Must be a self starter, not needing constant monitoring
• Exceptional Attention to Detail - extreme amounts of documentation required
• Exceptional Organizational Skills
• Good Communication Skills
• Strong Computer Skills
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, GFSI and AIB International Standards helpful, will train
• Willingess to continually train for changing requirements
• Some travel (3 weeks/year)
• Long term Commitment
• Understanding of Budgeting Process
• 4 year college degree preferred
