Job Description

• Develops, organizes and executes a comprehensive public relations, marketing & branding program for Story Medical designed to promote the Medical Center and its services. This includes but is not limited to media relations, community involvement and overall physical appearance of Medical Center.
• Serves as Public Information Officer and hospital crisis communication liaison.
• Assesses market areas, develops marketing programs, prepares promotional materials, monitors results, develops and maintains contact with the business community and area population to determine needs and satisfaction.
• Aids in planning and execution of customer service and patient experience initiatives.
• Plans and implements programs to include donor identification, cultivation, recognition, and support for all gifts, donations, pledges, and campaigns.
• Provides fiscal management by developing, recommending, and monitoring departmental operating and capital budgets. 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, communications or similar field required.
• Working knowledge of the Internet and Internet technology as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Expressions.
• Effective writing, presentation, and verbal skills.
• Ability to work independently under deadlines.

• Previous public relations experience preferred.
