Our Client, a large public company in the South Florida market, has engaged us to find the top talent in the market for their newly created position of Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Assisting Director of Accounting in overseeing all accounting operations
Maintain G/L, including monthly close process and review of all journal entries for direct reports
Assist in the planning of overall operations of G/L area and ensure achievement of goals and objectives
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results
Apply technical Accounting knowledge to ensure accounting practices comply with GAAP

Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting required, MBA or CPA desired, 8+ years experience in accounting, public accounting experience strongly desire, previous supervisory experience required
