8am-5pm Monday-Friday   Temp-to-Hire   $13 per hour

Sales Support position in Professional Division of company – speak to health care professionals on a regular basis

Duties

• Contact health care practitioner offices by phone in order to generate leads for sales consultants
• Explain products/services and prices; answer questions
• Obtain basic customer information including payment method; enter orders in computer
• Record names, addresses, purchases and reactions of prospects contacted
• Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals
• Obtain names and phone numbers of potential customers from various sources
• Answer phone calls from potential customers who have seen advertisements
• Phone or write letters to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up initial sales contacts
• Maintain records of contact, accounts and orders
• Assist with mailings for the sales consultants when the need arises
• Conduct client or market surveys in order to obtain information about potential customers

Qualifications

• Familiar with MS Office including MS Word and Excel
• BA/BS or related degree and 2 years experience, or equivalent education and experience

*Biology, Chemistry or Nutrition degree a plus!

*Familiarity with sales computer systems a plus!
