Job Description
Job Duties
-Participate in the development, establishment, and execution of processes and procedures associated with budget planning and management.
•Coordinate and prepare periodical business and financial analysis, forecasts, planning, reports, profitability and performance reviews, management reports (KPI report), budget analysis and variances, and ad-hoc analysis.
•Coordinate and compile financial research and/or trend analysis of major issues as required and provide solutions to a variety of complex business issues.
•Participate in the development of financial assumptions, analyses, and recommendations, and explain the rationale for the methodology used.
•Research and compile data and information for all the ad-hoc and routine requests of management level, Board of Directors, internal and external agencies for critical financial and operational decisions.
•Coordinate the communication with the management level to keep the financial measures and data aligned with strategic initiatives, industry standards and/or benchmarks.
•Participate in the preparation of data, analyses, and reports for Board meeting.
•Familiarize and comply with all applicable Bank’s policies and procedures as well as governing laws and regulations.
•Successfully completing all mandatory training on related Bank’s and BSA compliances as well as other laws and regulations as assigned in a timely manner.
Qualification Pre-requisites
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, or related field is preferred. MBA is plus.
•5+ years of extensive finance experience with a history of progressive responsibilities within a financial service institute or strategy consulting institute is preferred.
•Knowledge of bank/accounting policies and procedures, corporate budgeting, financial analysis methods, economics, business, statistics.
•Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is preferred.
•Sound understanding of retail banking, real estate finance, and commercial lending.
•Mathematical, computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
•Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Detail oriented and familiar with the workings of the economy, tax laws, and money markets.
•Good verbal and written project management, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills.
