Job Description
A national Risk Management/Loss Control Consulting firm is expanding its full time consultant base due to sustained growth in the Midwest. We work directly with the temporary staffing services and other labor intensive industries. As a result of this focus, we have service opportunities with clients specializing in logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, IT/Administrative, and shipping/harbor industries. Our Mission is to help our clients improve profitability through effectively managing risk.
We are seeking self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable consultants who can manage accounts within service plans and communicate with clients from the plant floor to the corporate board room. All successful applicants will pass a drug screen, background check inclusive of criminal and driving records, and possess a valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to our company’s insurance carrier.
The position requires up to 65% overnight travel and field work in a variety of exposures such as manufacturing plants, hospitals, and office environments. The successful applicant will have easy access within one hour of a major airport.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities include:
•Managing a list of assigned accounts and coordination of timely services.
•Scheduling work and making travel arrangements with support staff assistance and input from our Corporate Team.
•Completing detailed survey reports in both a checklist and narrative format.
•Developing and conducting safety and risk management training seminars, both in a traditional class room and internet delivery model.
•Analyze insurance loss information and facilitate discussions with clients to identify causes and provide solutions.
Skills and Education Requirements:
•Professional Designation such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Associate Risk Management (ARM), or World Safety Organization designation such as Certified Safety Manager (CSM).
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•OSHA Outreach Training Authorization for General Industry, Construction, and/or Maritime are a plus, but not required.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
