As an Internet Account Manager, you’ll help businesses grow with a robust set of online advertising products, including SEM (Search Engine Marketing, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Social Media Programs, and other services from Deluxe’s product suite.

We are looking for experienced, savvy, local media specialists that have deep knowledge of their community’s media landscape. You’ll bring years of selling to SMB’s in your city to the table. You’ll have deep roots to the community, and a virtual rolodex of contacts. You know who all the key players are who buy local advertising. You are viewed as a local media expert by your customers, the go to guy/gal for information on how to market their business. You will have a solid understanding of SEM, having sold it for several years.

Prospecting and networking will be your #1 focus. You’ll target large advertisers throughout your metro area. We’ll expect you to put in a full day every day, but respect your personal selling style and systems. You’ll attend local events (home and trade shows), and also target local ad agencies to gain customers.

Required:

• Strong Sales Experience (5 plus years) Experience with outside sales, managing customer relations and maintaining a book of business.

• Online marketing experience previously sold SEM & SEO programs and has a book of business.

• Prospecting for new clients by finding and qualifying leads generated from cold-calling, networking, marketing and referrals.

• Highly-motivated, independent, innovative, sales professionals will consult with small to medium size business.

• High school degree required; college degree a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Reliable transportation, car insurance.

• Must be able to pass drug & background checks-no misdemeanors or felonies

Key Skills:

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with CRM tools, such as Salesforce.com and/or other database systems.

• Strong understanding of online marketing, social media and interactive marketing world.
