Job Description : Kelly Services is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to work in the Irwindale, Ca area. Responsibilities are but not limited to: MUST HAVE PRIOR PLANT MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE - Maintenance of plant instruments, equipment and systems: set-up, repair, trouble-shoot, maintain and replace parts of production equipment such as: manufacturing aid/tooling, label printers, thermal fusers, jigs and fixtures, sand blasters, resistance-laser-ultrasonic welders, adhesive dispensers, heat guns, variacs, microscopes, sealers, water and air pressure decay testers, test boxes, braiders, grinders, annealing ovens, spoolers/winders, crimpers, strippers, and workstations.
- Perform adjustments, lubrications, and cleaning of equipment, as required. Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve quality problems. Fill out service reports and enter calibration and maintenance information to a computer database system or spreadsheet.
- Perform maintenance and calibration to manufacturing and packaging operations equipment, support calibration activities during equipment/utilities operational qualification efforts and scheduled maintenance and calibration intervals. Ensure that the calibration and maintenance activities are performed adequately in order to minimize equipment/line down time.
